Welder by trade, but seeking a more technical, customer-facing role?
WB Alloys is looking for someone with hands-on welding experience to step into a varied, customer-focused role supporting and demonstrating welding equipment, from trusted workshop machines to the latest cutting-edge technology.
This position blends practical welding knowledge with technical support and on-site demonstration work. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, and staying ahead of industry developments, but wants something beyond day-to-day production welding.
What the role involves:

Demonstrating welding and cutting equipment to customers

Showcasing new technology and product launches

Providing practical application advice and technical guidance

Assisting with equipment setup, optimisation, and basic fault finding

Supporting the sales team with technical expertise

Attending site visits, open days, and industry events

Maintaining demo equipment and ensuring machines are presentation-ready

Keeping up to date with welding innovations and processes
What we’re looking for:

Time-served welder (multi-process experience preferred)

Strong understanding of welding equipment and settings

Confident communicator who enjoys working with people

Practical, hands-on problem solver

Full UK driving licence
