Environmental Policy

WB Alloy Welding Products Ltd is an environmentally conscious company and as such we acknowledge the potential impact that our operations, products, and services may have on the environment. Our operations include manufacturing, procurement, sales, warehousing and distribution of welding equipment, services, and consumables.

WB Site Solutions Ltd provide specialist professional industrial services including calibration, induction heating, training, equipment installation and commissioning.

WB Senior management team (SMT) endorse this policy and ensure it is embedded within the strategy direction of both WB Alloy Welding Products and WB Site Solutions. Through awareness, educating, training programs and meetings all employees have shared responsibility and account notability for the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Integrated Management System in general. The SMT are committed to continuous improvement of the EMS, taking responsibility for ensuring, that it is documented, communicated, understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels within the organisation, that it achieves its intended outcomes and that opportunities for improvement are embraced.

Environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice and compliance bodies are regarded as setting the minimum standards of environmental performance for the organization. These will be used as a baseline for the company to develop environmental targets and goals, consider risks and opportunities, which are designed to improve our overall environmental performance.

WB will assess the environmental impact of all historic, current, and likely future operations,  reduce pollution, emissions, and waste,  reduce the use of all raw materials, energy, and supplies,  expect similar environmental standards from associated stakeholders: customers, suppliers, and contractors etc,  assist customers to use our products and services in an environmentally sensitive way,  work with local businesses, neighbours, partners, and suppliers to encourage improvement in our local environment,  participate and contribute to discussions about environmental issues,  raise awareness, train employees, and encourage participation, responsibility, and ownership for environmental matters,  strive to integrate the EMS into all business processes.

This policy will be communicated to all employees and organisations working for or on our behalf. Colleagues and other organisations are expected to co-operate and assist in the implementation of this policy, whilst ensuring that their own work, so far as is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves, others, or the environment.

This policy will be reviewed annually by the senior management team and where necessary will be
